About the Position
Youll join a world class Application Development team to develop applications, analyze business challenges, and integrate systems. Our software is currently written in JavaScript (NodeJS as well as client-side JS), C#, Objective C\SWIFT, Python, and PHP with the largest concentration being JavaScript due to its versatility. We dont need you to be an expert in everything but are looking for candidates with a functional knowledge of at least one of our core technologies, have a solid grasp of programming concepts, and can learn new languages and frameworks with relative ease. We are looking for candidates that have a passion for customer service and are focused on the outcome of our technology projects by working with the team to provide the how.
What you will do
You will develop and maintain code for several high visibility projects using a variety of frameworks, databases and programming languages.
Responsibilities
Develop enterprise-level applications and system integrations;
Translate user stories (aka requirements) in to functional code;
Work in a collaborative manner with the development team and business partners;
Share your knowledge by presenting your work to peers and management;
Be open to feedback and be open to providing feedback;
Run tests and fix bugs;
Build software based on guidance from systems architects, senior engineers, and management;
Keep stakeholders informed;
Make every project you are a part of better than you found it;

The Application Development Department provides a suite of services including software support, custom application development and tools for software integration. These services are provided to Walton Enterprises, the Walton Family Foundation and to Walton Family Entities.

Basic Qualifications
Qualifications required for your success
2+ years of experience with languages such as C#, JavaScript, HTML5, Python.
Experience with database languages such as MSSQL, NoSQL.
Experience with frameworks/libraries such as .NET, Node.js/ExpressJS, Angularjs, etc.
Experience with Git (bonus if experienced with GitLab)
Good communication both with a team and with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
