Accounting Assistant

Job Description

The Allied Mission is to make the finest bicycles on Earth. We build them in the United States from the ground up: from design to engineering to manufacturing. We are seeking a finance professional with strong experience in bookkeeping and other related activities.
You will report to our CFO and will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the business.


Responsibilities

· Accounts Payable activities, including entering, confirming, and paying vendor bills
· Accounts Receivable activities, including following up with collections
· Recording customer deposits and posting to Quickbooks or other accounting software
· Reviewing sales invoices for accuracy
· Transferring funds from ecommerce account to operating account
· Managing cash balances and preparing weekly cash flow summaries
· Verifying and processing Payroll in conjunction with outside payroll service
· Adjusting physical inventory as needed
· Managing basic Human Resources tasks: New hire onboarding and benefits implementation, acting as a liaison with outside human resources firm
· Assisting with monthly account reconciliations and preparation of financial statements
· Assisting with systems upkeep and maintenance
· Other tasks as assigned
