Senior Investment Operations Associate

Job Description

Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Senior Investment Operations Associate. The ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding of multi-asset trade cycles and corresponding operational processes and will have demonstrated an ability to support a growing investment team.

About the Position
You will join a world-class family office as an important member of a growing investment operations team. The Senior Associate will help develop and support all non-investment related functions including operations, administration, and operational risk management. The role requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and coordination between internal and external stakeholders. The work environment is fast-paced and deadline driven. Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage priorities, are key to success in this role.

What you will do
You will provide hands-on and day to day management of operational and control procedures in support of the investment process.

Responsibilities
• Analyze information relating to accounts, investments, and portfolio structure and help the investment team make decisions from an operational standpoint
• Help develop and implement internal controls and policies and procedures
• Be responsible for trade capture and processing and all operational aspects of investment activity
• Review daily reconciliations of cash balances, positions, and performance
• Process all investor capital activity
• Review and approve monthly NAVs and investor allocation schedules
• Assist with compliance responsibilities including regulatory reporting
• Manage all service provider relationships including OMS, Administrator, prime brokers, and custodians
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and special projects
• Coordinate with Investment Team, client staff, fund managers, and legal counsel to negotiate and complete legal reviews, side letters, and contracts relating to investments
• Oversee treasury process including cash and collateral management and monitor liquidity provisions on behalf of all client portfolios
• Maintain awareness of current investment themes and client interests

Who we are looking for

Qualifications required for your success
• 2 - 5 years of experience in investment operations

Preferred qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
