Evaluation Specialist - Art Bridges

About the Position

Art Bridges is looking for an Evaluation Specialist that will plan and oversee Art Bridges research and evaluation efforts in collaboration with the Center for Audience Research and Evaluation (Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art). The Center serves as the externally contracted evaluation team supporting Art Bridges in measuring the foundation’s impact and goals. This position will include the development of timelines, budgets, instruments, pilot testing, data collection, analysis, and reporting to support the internal needs of Art Bridges departments and the external needs of our museum partners.

 

What you will do

You’ll join a top-notch team and will support the Foundation and its partners in the research, analytic and administrative work of developing Art Bridges evaluation projects.

The position requires an outgoing, innovative, collaborative, and diplomatic professional who is able to combine independent work (such as designing new evaluation programs, analyzing data, providing ongoing 1-1 support to partners, preparing presentations and reports to share with stakeholders and managing project timelines and budgets) with collaborative work such as consulting on evaluation elements within partner proposals and coordinating evaluation projects with colleagues across the Foundation. This position will also serve as a liaison between Art Bridges and the Center for Audience Research and Evaluation. 

You will be responsible for a broad portfolio, often juggling a variety of evaluation projects in various stages of completion.

You have a proven track record of designing and leading evaluation projects, and of working with diverse stakeholders to ensure that their data needs are met. You are a passionate administrator, detail-oriented, thoughtful, highly motivated, solutions-oriented, collaborative, and congenial, with well-developed writing, communication, and organizational skills.

 

Qualifications required for your success

Bachelor’s Degree Required. Minimum of five years work experience in a museum or cultural setting, or in a non profit organization in the capacity of developing and implementing evaluation projects and communicating impact.

Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will satisfy the minimum requirements.

Physical demands and Work Environment

Physical demands: In the work environments described below, position requires utilizing a computer and telephone for prolonged periods of time, good eye/hand coordination, verbal and written conversation with others, lifting/carrying (up to 10 lbs). Vision abilities required by the job include close vision.

Work Environment: Work will be performed in an office environment and in museum spaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Some overnight travel may be necessary.

 

Vaccination Policy

In accordance with our duty to provide and maintain a workplace that is free of known hazards, and to do our part in safeguarding the health of our co-workers and their families as well as the community at large from COVID-19 that will be reduced by vaccination, we are requiring all Art Bridges staff and interns to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by their start date as a condition of employment. According to the CDC, “fully vaccinated” means it has been two weeks since a person received the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.

In accordance with all federal, state and local rules and regulations, Art Bridges recognizes that there may be certain circumstances exempting an employee from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Employees in need of an exemption from this policy due to a disability, advice of a medical provider, or religious beliefs inconsistent with vaccination, must contact the HR group at ASC to initiate the interactive review process within the deadlines expressed in this policy.
