Job Description

Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Flight Coordinator. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

About the Position
You’ll join a top-notch team and support flight requests for multiple principals and staff members. This role requires a high level of customer service, polished communication skills, and the ability to think critically and creatively.

What you will do
Serving as a central point of contact for flight requests, the Flight Coordinator will manage the entire process of flight coordination – taking in requests, inquiring about aircraft and pilot availability, estimating flight costs across multiple aircraft, coordinating services, and communicating details with relevant parties.

Responsibilities

Trip Management
• Serve as the point-of-contact for multiple households and entities requesting flights
• Utilize internal resources, aviation experience, and knowledge of the principals to plan and execute seamless flight experiences
• During travel, track flights and problem solve as changes or issues arise

Trip Coordination
• Understand flight requests and identify appropriate options to meet the passengers’ needs
• Schedule flights based on aircraft availability
• Prepare itineraries and cost estimates
• Confirm both arrival and departure locations
• Verify catering requirements and ground requirements
• Ensure all special requests are accommodated

Netjets/Charter Management
• Work closely with the accounting team to manage usage across several Netjets contracts
• Monitor account activity and re-balance usage across contracts as needed
• Look for opportunities to improve the charter experience and better utilize contracts

Communications
• Gather and apply knowledge of passenger needs and requests during the trip planning process
• Anticipate and resolve issues that may impact the passengers
• Always provide timely, accurate, and complete communication with passengers, pilots, and other involved parties

Internal & External Partnerships
• Work with various stakeholders in their specific areas of expertise (accountants, pilots, FBO managers, owners’ representatives) to create a seamless travel experience for each passenger

Information Analysis & Problem Solving
• Understand and explain basic contractual limitations, aircraft and airport limitations, Federal Aviation Regulations, and other potential impacts to the flight experience
• Use your knowledge, experience, and resources to ensure that travel goals are met

Qualifications required for your success
• 2+ years proven experience in a support role that required coordination, travel arrangements and logistics
• Ability to support the needs of multiple principals
• Knowledge of, exposure to, the aviation industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience in a customer service role
• Willingness to learn the aviation industry, building a knowledge base of aviation regulations

Benefits Information*

Compensation Range: $50,000-$65,000

About the F.A.S.T Department
The Family Advisory Services Team (F.A.S.T.) works with the family principals to provide strategic advice and counsel across financial planning, business development, staffing, office operations, and personal matters. The F.A.S.T. team serves as a liaison between the Walton family households and Walton Enterprises. The team has members based in both the Bentonville, AR and Denver, CO offices.
