Marketing Manager

Job Description

Runway is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Marketing Manager. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to create and execute effective marketing campaigns.

You’ll join a top-notch team and be responsible for leading and executing marketing strategy.

What you will do

Responsibilities
• Update and maintain marketing strategy and tactics document
• Develop business models with respective internal business partners and execute marketing strategy to achieve profitability
• Report on key metrics across the business on a monthly/quarterly schedule. Share business intelligence with CFO or other internal partners on a quarterly schedule, or as requested.
• Work closely with the Communications Director to identify brand presence online, at events, and in stores.
• Evaluate sales opportunities for merchandise, guided experiences, events, and partnerships
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Maintain supply-chain accountability, including monitoring for ethical and sustainability issues
• Maintain positive relationships with retail partners
• Provide short and long-term market forecasts and interprets market data for consumption
• Develop new uses for existing products by analyzing statistics regarding market development, acquiring and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources.
• Maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.

Qualifications required for your success
• 3+ years of marketing experience
• Profit and loss responsibility
• Experience managing multiple businesses and brands simultaneously
• Merchandising experience (online store – improve margins, collaborate with Airbnb).
• Experience in lifestyle branding
• Direct to consumer marketing experience
• Understanding and experience with digital marketing, segmentation audiences is very important. This person will know who they need to reach and how to measure that reach
