Line Technician - Summit Aviation

Job Description

Summit Aviation is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Line Technician. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to interact with the public in a professional manner. This position requires evening and weekend shifts.

About the Position
You’ll join a top-notch team and handle all aspects of the customer service experience at Summit Aviation.

What you will do
The Line Technician will be responsible for maintaining the ramp and organizing operations on the flight line.

Responsibilities
• Refueling, towing, and marshaling aircraft
• Lavatory servicing
• Moving aircraft to and from hangers
• Fuel farm management
• Assisting pilots, crew members, and passengers with luggage transportation
• Assist in other airport needs throughout the day to day operations

Qualifications required for your success
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong safety focus and punctuality a must
• Interest in Aviation a plus

Additional Helpful Experience Includes
• Previous customer service experience
• Keeps a high level of professionalism and customer service
• Knowledge of aviation terms and infrastructure

Physical Demands
The physical environments in which you will work may have extreme heat or cold, noise level which may, at times, require normal hearing protection in the form of ear plugs, lubricating fluids, cleaning solvents, batteries, etc., cleaning fluids normally used in custodial duties, paints and solvents. This position frequently requires you to push or lift up to 80 pounds, ability to climb a ladder, bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, and walking.
