Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as an Administrative Assistant. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to provide 8-10 investment professionals at Walton Enterprises with general administrative support.


About the Position

You’ll join a top-notch team and assist with a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. The organization is currently working from home during the Covid pandemic, and this role may be able to support a flexible work schedule including variable work hours based on the needs of the organization.


What you will do

Responsibilities Include:

• Reserve and coordinate travel arrangements including flights, hotels, and ground transportation for both domestic and international trips
• Be responsible for calendar management including scheduling calls, in-person meetings, and video conferences for assigned members of the team
• Manage and process expense reports in a timely manner
• Arrange logistics for on and off-site meetings, including catering orders and room reservations
• Manage onboarding activities for new employees
• Complete light filing, scanning, copying, and data entry
• Print and distribute materials prior to meetings
• Assist with processing and tracking courier services including USPS, FedEx, and UPS
• Proactively communicate and coordinate with other support staff across Walton Enterprises to ensure efficient operations
• Provide complementary support to other assistants and act as back-up when needed


Who we are looking for

Qualifications required for your success

• 2+ years’ work experience in an administrative role within an office environment
• Proficient with various technology platforms – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and DocuSign, or a willingness to build these skills

Additional Helpful Experience Includes

• Experience providing administrative support in an investment related field (accounting, finance, real estate, hospitality, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree
