About the Position
We are seeking a self-motivated, committed, and highly professional Quality Manager to join our team. The Quality Manager will control the workflow across the entire aircraft production process by directly managing the Leads of each production department Composite, Paint, and Assembly. Tasked with developing our team and finding opportunities to improve processes and productivity, the Quality Manager is responsible for supporting and optimizing operations and practices. This represents a unique opportunity for the right candidate to get ahead of upcoming growth and help to scale operations.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage multiple Leads in the areas of Composite, Paint, and Assembly
o Support and coach the team in developing and maintaining a culture of best-in-class quality and productivity
o Develop processes and procedures to efficiently manage teams
o Proactively Monitor the teams productivity, morale, and performance
Drive enhanced productivity and high retention
Implement and oversee the execution of operational guidelines to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety)
Forecast staffing needs and workload metrics to meet business demands and deliver results
Support, track, and manage facility goals
Be comfortable handling confidential matters
Assist with any other special projects that may arise
Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and open work environment among staff
Experience and Qualifications required:
10-15 years of experience in a Quality Management role
Must have a solid understanding of industrial processes
Ability to create culture and retain and grow talent
HR experience related to addressing issues or concerns across teams
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Analytical skills to evaluate data and make operational decisions
Ability to manage and execute multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Comfortable and successful working independently as well as playing an integral role in the office and a team environment
An ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, partners and clients
