Executive Assistant

Job Description

About the Position

You’ll join the dynamic, founding team at a new education-focused private equity fund, A-Street Ventures.

A-Street Ventures will make seed, early stage (series A and B), growth and late-stage investments [$5mm-$75mm] into innovative K-12 learning solutions for families, schools and districts. The fund will have an independent investment team and governance. The vehicle is independent of the investor’s family office but, by design, complementary to the investor’s philanthropic and advocacy work in education. The objective is to catalyze solutions and market activity in ways that only commercial capital can, such that over the long term, fundamental challenges facing high-needs students in the U.S. K-12 ecosystem are better addressed.

The position reports to the Managing Director. Over time, as the team grows, reporting structures may evolve.
