Job Description

Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Investment Accounting team. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to administratively support to other team members on a fast-paced team.

About the Position

You’ll join a top-notch team and perform administrative support for an accounting team. This role supports a team of accountants and will collaborate with members of an in-house investment operations team.


What you will do

Responsibilities

• Manage email inboxes and take appropriate action (email routing, document archiving, payment initiation, CRM setup, etc.)
• Assist with account opening documents
• Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Maintain highly organized filing system
• Correspond to notices, requests for information, etc.
• File, scan, mail, and other clerical tasks
• Create and maintain physical and electronic files and records
• Assist with 1099/W2 printing and processing
• Regular and good attendance to work


Who we are looking for

Qualifications required for your success

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years work experience in an administrative support role
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail

Additional Helpful Experience Includes

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with electronic document management
• Experience with or knowledge of investment and/or legal documents
• Excellent knowledge operating a windows PC
• Outstanding skills in Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent time management with a demonstrated capacity to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

About the Accounting Department

The Accounting Department provides a suite of services including accounts payable, accounts receivable, investment accounting, and grants administration. The accounting team supports the family households, Walton Enterprises, and the Walton Family Foundation.
