Position Summary
Builders Asset Management (“BAM”) is a team within Builders Vision that manages a multi-asset class portfolio, including significant ESG and impact investments. The BAM team is seeking a qualified Senior Analyst to join the team and support senior colleagues with all aspects of portfolio management, investment strategy research and monitoring, investment systems and process management.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio management – The Senior Analyst will support senior colleagues with all aspects of portfolio management, including asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment tracking and reporting, and will be responsible for producing a range of analyses and presentation materials.
Investment due diligence and monitoring – In supporting senior colleagues on investment due diligence, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for researching investment opportunities, summarizing findings and drafting research deliverables. In addition, the Senior Analyst will manage the day-to-day diligence and monitoring processes, including reviewing manager communications, scheduling manager meetings, maintaining research records, drafting meeting notes, tracking important deadlines, etc.
Investment systems and process management – The Senior Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and improving investments systems and processes, including managing the investment pipeline, maintaining investment research and monitoring templates, and maintaining research wiki/knowledge base.
Special projects – The Senior Analyst will support senior colleagues on special projects such as thematic landscape analyses, investment impact-related initiatives and reporting, etc.
Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong quantitative capabilities with demonstrated ability to execute financial analysis
Comfort conducting analyses in Excel and presenting complex concepts in PowerPoint, drafting reports in Word and everyday use of calendar software; experience with Salesforce, Asana, R and/or Python a
Ability to work independently with direction but minimal
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and multi-task
Attention to detail

Qualifications required for success
