Walton Enterprises is seeking a Trading/Operations Associate to assist Head Trader and team on the trading desk. This is excellent opportunity to gain exposure to trade construction, execution, and settlement/custody process. This is a hybrid role focusing on both trading and operations support, with participation in ad hoc projects; successful Associates may have the opportunity to advance into an Assistant Trader position.

What you will do
Responsibilities
Work closely with various departments within the firm, ensuring smooth process and accurate implementation of investment decisions
Assist Head Trader with daily and periodic tasks
Provide support for trading activity (equities, ETFs, fixed income, etc.) and account maintenance in coordination with investment policies/guidelines
Trade reconciliation: daily allocation and settlement of trades in a timely manner
Maintain accurate portfolio accounting for all clients/accounts within internal systems
Identify and evaluate value-add opportunities regarding trade/operations process
Who we are looking for
Qualifications required for your success
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2+ years of relevant work experience in a trading/operations environment
Experience with OMS and custody portals
Additional Helpful Experience Includes
Strong Excel and Bloomberg skills are a plus
