Program Manager, Clinical Care

Job Description

The Program Manager, Clinical Care serves as a clinical expert in the development of whole health within the Whole Health Institute (WHI) and across the provider and patient journey. This position is responsible for the integration and co-creation of whole health clinical practices with WHI partners.  

The core work includes: acting as a clinical liaison with all healthcare partners; ensuring whole health practices are being integrated within specific projects; acting as an onsite subject matter expert in whole health to clinical partners; managing deliverables, timelines, and resources for program implementation and whole health integration efforts; supporting quality and process improvement efforts; and organizing and planning internal and external meetings.

 

Scope

Collaboration: Partners with other cross-functional team members across the organization to manage  projects and ensure buy-in from necessary stakeholders. Proactively maintains existing relationships and develops new relationships with internal and external partners and vendors. Partners with the Whole Health School of Medicine and Health Sciences to assist in informing their curriculum development and ensure future clinicians have a whole health clinical environment to rotate through.

Strategy: Understands implementation strategy to ensure execution is aligned with organizational goals. Applies change, risk, and resource management to multiple projects at one time. Assumes responsibility for program performance internally to WHI and with external partners.

Program Development:  Evaluates the culture, climate, and infrastructure of clinical partners, completion of gap analysis that identifies whole health assets and opportunities, collaborating with partners to establish awareness, co-developing content tailored to partner needs, identifying and tracking metrics for success, and facilitating practice change.

Working Environment: Spends majority of time in partner organization environments (clinical settings) interacting with all staffing levels ensuring full understanding of needs and resources (or lack thereof) and ensuring that all voices are heard as transformation to whole health delivery is co-created.
