About the Position
The Insurance & Risk Management Accountant will work collaboratively with the entire Insurance & Risk Management team and its business partners to manage the invoicing process, maintain policy data and records, and maintain relationships with our business partners.
What you will do
You will be responsible for the management of our premium invoicing process. This includes new business, policy renewals, endorsements, audits, cost allocations and budgets.
Responsibilities
Managing and processing invoices for insurance renewals, endorsements, ad-hoc policies, audits, and adjustments
Allocate insurance expenses per entity, location, or asset type
Provide insurance accounting support to internal and external accounting departments, Insurance Broker, and Insurance Carriers
Maintain online accounts with individual insurance carriers for direct bill arrangements
Maintain the internal IRM expiration list of all insurance policies
Assist with certificate requests to provide evidence of insurance for internal and external business partners
Manage departmental mail
Assist with maintaining internal records and uploading documents to our agency management system
Other risk management duties as assigned
Who we are looking for
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in General Business/Administration experience, including invoice processing
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word
