Blue Crane, a development and real estate company headquartered in Bentonville, AR is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Construction Manager. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, scheduling and oversight of the multiple projects varying in size and complexity.
Specific Position Responsibilities:
Oversee and direct specific construction projects from inception to completion
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
Oversee all onsite construction work to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
Meet contractual conditions of performance standards
Review work progress onsite regularly and provide construction observation reports to consultants for input on work
Prepare internal and external reporting pertaining to job status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues
Familiarity with AIA contracts and will draft and negotiate terms of agreements
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
Review, understand, and respond to all change orders and pay applications for given projects in a timely manner.
Help oversee punch list and closeout processes

Basic Qualifications
15+ Years of proven working experience in construction management in multi-family, hospitality, or large commercial projects
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Understanding of all facets of the construction process
Strong communication skills to connect with employees and build strong relationships
Familiarity with construction management software packages
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Leadership and human resources management skills
Excellent time and project management skills
BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field
