Walton Enterprises is seeking an experienced client services professional with strong relationship management skills to join its Family Services team as a Senior Advisor.
About the Position
WEI Family Advisors serve as trusted team members and the primary-point-of-contact liaison between the Walton family households and Walton Enterprises. In this capacity, the Senior Advisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring high-quality, holistic service delivery to family members by strategically leading projects and coordinating services across all components of the family office, including but not limited to, investments, legal, property management, and tax.
The ideal candidate will be a demonstrated self-starter, a skilled and resourceful problem solver that can curate specialized advice, and a service-oriented partner with a passion for delivering world class service to our principals.
Responsibilities
The Senior Advisor will work directly with one to two principals and their local staff to devise strategy, manage projects, and connect resources for various cross-functional initiatives.
General responsibilities include:
Serve as a trusted advisor to the principals, assuming a client service role, effectively anticipating, responding, and consulting regarding needs and requests
Collaborate with a cross-department service team – a group of 8-10 representatives from each WEI department that are dedicated to supporting a specific household / principal. Ensure principals receive holistic and integrated family office support across all financial and non- financial services
Facilitate strategic discussions with principals to develop personal and professional objectives, risk mitigation strategies, and other projects / initiatives, confidently toggling between a variety of skillsets
Coordinate with other departments, including the investment and wealth planning teams, to recommend, implement, and monitor a holistic financial plan, incorporating relevant aspects of estate planning, tax & accounting, investment management, personal philanthropic strategy, and non-profit capital allocation as appropriate
Leverage and coordinate with specialists across the family office to provide interdisciplinary support and advise principals on wide-ranging personal business and impact-related endeavors
Earn trust and develop strong rapport with family members by exhibiting empathy, integrity, discretion, confidence, and sound judgment
Effectively build credibility and trusted relationships with WEI leaders/departments, ecosystem partners, and staff
Synthesize complex data into audience-appropriate presentations / reports for discussion with principals
Successfully navigate, and often mediate, complex family dynamics and relationships
Manage and mentor less experienced team members

Basic Qualifications
Required qualifications are
Experienced professional, skilled at building trust and relationship with high-net-worth individuals and families, while partnering to achieve personal and business objectives
15-year minimum relevant service
Proven project management experience, from conception to completion, coordinating multiple work streams and a wide variety of activities
Demonstrated experience in roles requiring high levels of diplomacy, discretion, empathy, judgement, and tactful communication
Accomplished problem solver with ability to develop creative, collaborative solutions
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications are
History of successfully managing a team of professionals preferred

Compensation and Benefits Information*
Compensation Range: $260,000-$390,000
Benefits Information: We offer a comprehensive and generous benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k)-retirement plan and paid time off.

About the Family Services Team
The Family Services Team works with the family principals to provide strategic advice and counsel across business development, staffing, office operations, and personal matters. The Family Services team serves as a liaison between the Walton family households and Walton Enterprises. The team has members based in both the Bentonville, AR and Denver, CO offices.
